STI, and now with the introduction of their new sporting rifles they
are catering to a whole new class of shooters. STI’s legendary
reputation for reliability and accuracy is well represented by this
rifle, and shooters everywhere will quickly realize the advantage it
gives them.
Chambered in
5.56mm Nato, the 16” 410 SS barrel features a 1:8 twist with a
mid-length gas system. Featuring a Nordic Tactical Compensator and JP
Fire Control System, what really sets this rifle apart from the rest of the
pack is the custom STI Valkyrie hand guard and gas block.
The hand
guard is predrilled and tapped on the top and bottom with 1" hole
spacing to accept JP rails and features slots (both cosmetic and
functional) with 1/2" centers which allows the customer to use T-nuts
to mount add-on side mounted rails at virtually any angle. The
exclusive STI Valkyrie Tactical gas block features cosmetic design cuts
to better match the STI hand guard and sports a Picatinny rail on the
top.
